Boooo!! Waaaaa!!! Uncle Joel took off on Wednesday, heading south along the Blue Ridge Parkway all the way to North Carolina through a crazy tropical thunderstorm. The thunderstorm part of that equation was not expected; as you can see from the pictures, it was sunny when he rode out of Baltimore. Our farewell shots:

It was really, really, really nice having a third pair of hands around and some adult company during the day; I think that 3 to 1 is an ideal adult to child ratio.
